Release of the Song 'Home', Rendy Pandugo Dedicates it to Beloved Wife and Children

Kapanlagi.com - After taking a short break from his music activities, Rendy Pandugo is finally coloring Indonesian music again with his latest song titled Home. 

This also marks Rendy Pandugo's first song under his new music label, Universal Music Indonesia, in collaboration with Wonderland Records.

"Actually, I wanted to come back (to music) because I wanted to. So I felt it was time to return to music, to my original habitat. We were going to release it, but then Frank & Co brought us together. Luckily, our vision and mission are the same, a message about love, so we collaborated," said Rendy Pandugo during a virtual press conference on Friday (9/10).

1. Inspired by Beloved Wife and Children

The man born on May 7, 1985, also revealed that the song Home was created in 2018. At that time, he was longing to spend time with his wife and children because he often traveled out of town. Meanwhile, at that time, home was only a place to stay.

"Home was made in 2018 when I often traveled out of town, at that time it felt like I was coming home but only as a place to stay and sleep," said Rendy Pandugo. 

"There was less quality time for the family. Then I was like, okay, I don't want to work, what do you want to eat tomorrow? So I had to go through that. Yeah, when I missed my home, I missed everything, so I wrote this song Home," he continued.

2. The Meaning of Home

Rendy Pandugo interpreted that home is not just a place to live but also about the people he loves, about childhood memories, and also a hope.

"I made this song as if I'm telling a story about family, about where people call home, not always defined as a place or walls or roof or how many floors. But more about the people closest to us whom we truly love," said Rendy Pandugo. 

"Home for me is something that reminds me of the situation. When you remember the home where you grew up, where those hopes were created. It doesn't mean you're already in a relationship, but when you're not married yet, you can remember your childhood and want to become this, remember your parents are still there," he concluded.
