Kapanlagi.com - The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the public to make significant changes in their lifestyles. This includes artists, such as Titi DJ. In the midst of these difficult times, the diva continues to pour out her creativity.
After releasing Show Off Your Colors recently, Titi is now producing a vocal group of children named Dear Juliets under the banner of Sang Dewi Enterprise. The group consists of 5 talented boys, namely Arkana, Darren, Ditya, Erwin, and Mitchel.
"Although shows and events have decreased due to this pandemic, it is unfortunate if the time we have is wasted without any results. Luckily, Sang Dewi Enterprise and I share the same vision, which is to continue creating and producing. One of the reasons why we formed Dear Juliets is because the regeneration in the music industry is always something that interests me. We can see that there are so many extraordinary talents in Indonesia that need a platform for their expression. By following strict and safe procedures to avoid Covid, everything can be carried out well and safely," said Titi DJ in a press release received by KapanLagi.com.

Titi DJ formed Dear Juliets after going through a talent search process via social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. Several individuals went through auditions before finally selecting the above 5 names. They were chosen because they possess different outstanding abilities and characters from one another.
Once formed, they are quarantined every weekend and provided with training and deepening of singing and dancing materials. For vocal training, they are guided by Kak Pipit Puspita Wardhani. As for choreography, they are trained by Kak Evelinn Kurniadi, affectionately called Kak Eve. Of course, all of this is under the supervision of Mommy Titi, their affectionate term for Titi DJ.
"Hearing the stories of my friends whose children are still in school, how sometimes their children feel bored because they have to continue going to school without meeting their friends in person, not to mention the difficulties faced by parents who now have to work closely with teachers to guide their children in completing school assignments, made me and JfK, my manager, think of creating a song about online schooling, which is expected to be a source of encouragement for both children and their parents to stay happy and optimistic," added Titi DJ.

Dear Juliets' debut single has a very unique title, which is Tarading Deng Dong. Titi DJ explained the meaning behind the chosen title.
"If the title is Tarading Deng Dong, I took it from the lyrics. There is no specific meaning. I just imagine myself as a child, playing around, humming without any meaning, and that sound comes out of my mouth. Well, because it sounds funny, I decided to make it the title," explained Titi DJ while laughing.
