Rapper Yung Raja Presents Different Rap Music Nuances Through His Latest Single

Kapanlagi.com - Singaporean rapper Yung Raja has finally released his latest single titled THE DANCE SONG which also marks his debut under the Def Jam South East Asia label. The song, released on October 9, 2020, is a hip-hop genre song that presents rap in English and Tamil languages.

"This is my third and biggest work in my artistic experience. Whatever I think about the name Yung Raja, will come out here," said the rapper in a release received on Friday (9/10).

As for the music video of the single The Dance Song, it is directed by Vadbibes. They previously collaborated on two previous singles titled Mustafa in 2018 and Mad Blessings in 2019.

"I think the previous song, Mustafa, was still calm. Then Mad Blessings started to get a little crazy and The Dance Song became the culmination of the madness of this work," he said.

However, for Yung Raja, through his latest single, he wants to convey the message that being cool doesn't need to force oneself. Because the goal of creating this new song titled The Dance Song is only to entertain.

"I don't know why rappers always want to look cool all the time. I wrote this song because I just want to entertain," he concluded.

Yung Raja is the first Asian artist signed to Alamo Records, a joint venture label between Interscope Records and Geffen. Yung Raja has now joined the Alamo roster which includes rappers Lil Durk, Smokepurpp, and 03 Greedo.
