Two Years of Waiting, Brisia Jodie Finally Has a Solo Album Kisahku

Starting with a duet single with Arsy Widianto, several independent singles that were released successfully received positive appreciation.

After two years of waiting, Jodie finally released her debut album titled Kisahku. The selection of Kisahku as the album title apparently has its own meaning. What is it?

"The reason for choosing the album name Kisahku is because it is the title of a song that I created myself. This song was nominated for the AMI Awards," Jodie said as quoted from a Whatsapp message received by KapanLagi.com.

The process of creating this debut album was experienced with joy by the owner of the full name Brisia Jodie Maurinne. Moreover, in addition to family, there is a lot of support from people who are competent in their field such as Yovie Widianto, Laleilmanino, and Nadya Fatira.

"The process flowed smoothly because since entering the recording world, the goal was to have a solo album and it could only be realized two years later. In this album, there are songs that I created with my brother, Mas Yovie, Laleilmanino, and Nadya Fatira," explained the 24-year-old singer.

The album Kisahku contains ten tracks starting from Kisahku, Cinta Kau Di Mana, Ingin Memilikimu, Hari Ini Esok Lusa, Seandainya, Rekah, Tak Bisa, Menunggu Jadi Pacarmu, and Dengan Caraku. Not to mention the recycled hit song by Melly Goeslaw titled Bimbang, which is performed with an arrangement that is no less heart-wrenching than the original version.
