Bring Back to Me, Ben Sihombing's New Single Responded Well by Netizens
Singer Ben Sihombing has just released a new single titled "Kembali Padaku" (Come Back to Me).
Kapanlagi.com - In the 1980s, the song titled Tak Ingin Sendiri by Dian Piesesha was so booming and dominated the music industry in the country. This song, created by the famous musician Pance F Pondaag, was included in Dian Piesesha's 6th album, which sold millions of copies and became one of the best-selling albums of all time.
Reflecting on that fact, BianGindas chose to recycle the song Tak Ingin Sendiri in their more modern version. In reality, this song is also loved by millennials and has become popular as a soundtrack on the TikTok application.
"During one of our performances, when BianGindas was singing this song, thousands of audience members joined in singing it. So it's proven that this song can be accepted by all age groups, both young and old," said Bian.

BianGindas made few changes to the composition of the song. The musical notation remains the same, but BianGindas adds a more contemporary sound to it. And of course, Bian's vocal character is what sets this version apart from the original.
"Actually, the only difference is the choice of sound, guitar harmony, and Bian's distinctive vocals in this song. Because fundamentally, this song is already very pleasant. So it just needs to be adjusted to Biangindas' character, without changing much from the original song," he added.
There were no significant difficulties when BianGindas rearranged this song. Only Bian CS had to brainstorm to find the right chords that fit Bian's vocal tone. It's understandable, as this song was originally sung by a female singer who naturally has a much different vocal range than Bian.
"This song has deep and poetic lyrics. The musical notation is also simple and blends well with the lyrics. So it is very enjoyable to listen to and easy to sing along for the listeners of this song," said Bian.

Recycling a once popular song is certainly not as easy as imagined, some musicians may feel a little burdened. However, this apparently does not apply to BianGindas.
"There is no significant burden actually, because for BianGindas, it is a pride to have the opportunity to re-release a very legendary song in Indonesia," Bian proudly concluded.
Certainly, there will be positive and negative judgments from music lovers regarding the new version of Tak Ingin Sendiri. However, BianGindas is aware of that and ready to accept all kinds of input for their own progress.
"BianGindas always strives to provide the best work for all BianGindas listeners. If there are pros and cons, it is normal. Considering that everyone surely receives a work with different conditions and perceptions. So, it is normal to have differing opinions about this work. It will actually become a positive dynamic for BianGindas' future progress," Bian concluded.
