'Aku Bukan Bucin', Al Ghazali's Latest Single Full of Arrogance

The oldest son of Ahmad Dhani has just released his latest single titled Aku Bukan Bucin (I'm Not a Hopeless Romantic), which was created by Wawan TMG.

As can be guessed from the title, Aku Bukan Bucin is a love-themed song with slightly 'naughty' lyrics. The story revolves around a cocky guy who is never satisfied with just one woman in his life. Because of his arrogance, the guy doesn't want to be enslaved by love (bucin).

This song was written by Wawan 3 months ago during the pandemic. After careful consideration, he chose Al Ghazali to sing his composition. According to him, Al's handsome face and somewhat flat expression make him perfect for performing Aku Bukan Bucin.

"Al is handsome, so he's perfect for singing this song. This song is about arrogance. So it's only natural for the singer to be handsome and have many girls," said Wawan when recently interviewed.

Well, Al was chosen not just because of his handsome appearance. According to Wawan, Al's vocal quality is also unique and has its own characteristics, which can give an interesting color to his songs. The recording process itself went smoothly without many obstacles.

"His character is light, not complicated. Al's vocals are ordinary, but he is unique. I thought this song was easy. Al can definitely do it. The difficulty is only in terms of scheduling. And he's a bit moody," said Wawan while laughing.

2. Can Be Used for Tik Tok

Wawan has been under the umbrella of Republik Cinta Management (RCM) owned by his father for quite some time. Based on that fact, Al entrusted all the arrangements and production of his songs to Wawan.

"Nowadays, that's what sells. It can be used for Tik Tok. So, it can be used to mock others," concluded Wawan.
