Divorce Hearing Postponed Again, Aldi Bragi Has Not Determined the Amount of Iddah and Mutah Allowance for Ririn Dwi Ariyanti

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial of Aldi Bragi and Ririn Dwi Ariyanti resumed at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Thursday (2/12/2021). However, the scheduled conclusion of the trial was postponed again because Aldi Bragi has not determined the amount of iddah and mutah maintenance for Ririn.

"Today's agenda is the conclusion. Actually, it was scheduled since December 2nd, but me and Riri as Ririn's legal team have not been able to deliver the conclusion. Why? Because until today, Aldi as the petitioner has not provided certainty regarding iddah and mutah maintenance," said Ririn Dwi Aryanti's legal representative, Andriansyah Tiawarman, at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Thursday (2/11/2021).

The panel of judges also emphasized to Aldi to promptly determine the amount of iddah and mutah maintenance. This is to ensure that the trial process can proceed to the next stage.

"Actually, the judges could have made a decision. But the Panel of Judges is very wise, that's why they gave it to the petitioner and the respondent to be resolved," said Andriansyah.

1. Decide the Amount

"Don't let it happen later, for example, if the X amount is decided, it's too small and unfair. If the Y amount is decided, it's too big and unaffordable. So, don't oppress both parties," he added. In fact, Ririn Dwi Ariyanti herself did not ask for a specific amount of iddah and mutah maintenance money.

"I never mentioned a specific amount. Since the beginning of our marriage, Ririn already had a job. She even already had a house. So, no one asked for anything, but this is according to the law. The law and the Panel of Judges are the ones who ask for it so that the decision can meet the expectations of both parties," he said.

2. File for Divorce

As it is known, Aldi Bragi filed for divorce or requested a divorce from Ririn Dwi Ariyanti on August 30, 2021, through e-court. In addition, Aldi Bragi also requested custody of the children to be given to him.

Similarly, Ririn Dwi Ariyanti also filed for custody of the children. It is known that Aldi Bragi married Ririn Dwi Ariyanti on July 11, 2010. From this marriage, they were blessed with three children.
