Divorced: Raffi Ahmad's Younger Brother at 15 Years of Marriage, Andika Rosadi is Sad and Wants to Hold On for the Children

Andika Rosadi admitted to feeling sad when he first learned that his wife, Nisya Ahmad, decided to end the marriage they had built for 15 years. Raffi Ahmad's younger brother filed for divorce from his wife at the South Jakarta Religious Court.

According to Nata Sasmita, who is Andika's attorney, his client is worried that his divorce from Nagita Slavina's sister-in-law will affect their three children. He fears that the children's mental health will also be impacted.

"His reaction is sad, why? Mr. Andika loves his children, if a divorce happens, the impact on the children will be very hard on our client," said Nata when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Thursday (1/8/2024).

Nata fully supports Andika's decision to continue maintaining his marriage with Nisya. He also attempted to refute all the divorce claims filed by Nisya Ahmad.

"As the representative of the defendant, we continue to try to withdraw the lawsuit because why? In this household issue, there are two heads with two different thoughts, there are differences of opinion that cannot be unified but must still be aligned and harmonious for the child's interest. Because the child becomes a victim in this divorce," said Nata Sasmita.

Unfortunately, Nisya seems to still be firm in her stance to divorce Andika. Moreover, the mediation that has taken place during the trial, as well as outside the trial, has always failed.

"If the discourse for mediation has already been conducted three times, the goal is for the welfare of the child, their mental health is also good and needs to be saved," explained Nata.

Even though they filed a lawsuit, Nisya and Andika are still living in the same house. However, they no longer sleep in the same bed.

"Still under one roof. Still living at the same place as per the ID card, you might check at the house, it remains the same. Yes (they have separated beds)," she explained.

Both Andika and Nisya seem to agree to jointly raise their child. Moreover, Nisya has not included a lawsuit regarding child custody or community property.

"For now, we are still co-parenting, there are no custody claims, we are still living together," he concluded.

As reported, Nisya filed for divorce at the South Jakarta Religious Court on May 10, 2024. Their first divorce hearing was then held on May 30, 2024.
