DJ Panda Speaks Out After Mediation with Erika Carlina, Hopes the Issue Can Be Resolved Amicably

Giovanni Surya, better known as DJ Panda, finally speaks out after undergoing mediation with Erika Carlina at the Metro Jaya Police. Facing allegations of threats made by Erika, DJ Panda hopes that this issue can be resolved amicably.

Although the first mediation meeting did not yield results, DJ Panda remains optimistic and asks for prayers that a peaceful resolution can be achieved.

"Maybe just pray for the best from friends, hopefully it can be resolved quickly, and end well. Just asking for prayers," said DJ Panda when met at the Metro Jaya Police, South Jakarta, Friday (31/10/2025).

On that occasion, DJ Panda also met directly with Erika Carlina. However, when asked about the content of their conversation, he chose not to disclose it to the public and considered it a personal matter.

"Yes, that is my personal matter," he answered briefly, choosing to maintain privacy amidst the ongoing mediation process.

His attorney, Michael Sugijanto, confirmed that the mediation meeting was initiated by their side. According to him, the peaceful route is the top priority in line with the spirit of law in Indonesia.

"Yes, it is mandated by law. If we can make peace, then let's make peace. That's the culture of Indonesia, the law must also follow its culture," explained Michael.

This case itself began from a report by Erika Carlina to the police some time ago, accusing DJ Panda of making threats against her.

Although there is still no clarity, DJ Panda's side will meet with Erika Carlina again in two weeks to continue the peace efforts. DJ Panda's hope to resolve this issue amicably now depends on the outcome of the next meeting.
