Doddy Sudrajat Appeals the Gala Sky Guardian Rights, Haji Faisal: I'm at a Loss for Words

Kapanlagi.com - The relationship between Haji Faisal and the late Venessa Angel's father, Doddy Sudrajat, is heating up again. After previously reconciling and even meeting, the two are now at odds again. This started with the father-in-law filing an appeal for the custody of his grandson, Gala Sky Andriansyah.

As previously reported, the West Jakarta Religious Court granted Haji Faisal's request to be the official guardian of Vanessa Angel's eldest son with Bibi Andriansyah.

Doddy's actions have made Haji Faisal angry and disappointed. Moreover, Doddy had previously stated that he was at peace with the court's decision. However, this turn of events has left Haji Faisal at a loss.

"In this matter, I can say that I am at a loss. Why am I at a loss? Yesterday, before the court's decision, Mr. Doddy said in the news, I heard it on Youtube, if I'm not mistaken, that he would be at peace," said Haji Faisal when met at his residence on Monday (2/5).

1. Feeling Relieved

Haji Faisal said that he had previously felt very relieved with Doddy's generous attitude regarding the guardianship rights of Gala Sky. According to him, what his son-in-law did was the attitude of a gentleman.

"Being generous means accepting whatever decision is made, accepting it gracefully and maintaining good relationships. So, I also feel relieved to hear those words, because there is an attitude that I think is a gentleman's," he said.

2. Fighting for Guardianship Rights

However, Haji Faisal's trust was once again tarnished by Doddy Sudrajat's decision to appeal for custody of his grandchild. And they have to fight again in court.

"It means we are now fighting for guardianship rights in court, and apparently before the court's decision there was a statement saying that he would be generous, but after some time, after the decision came out, now there is an appeal," said the father of four.

3. Confused

Haji Faisal himself does not understand Doddy Sudrajat's ever-changing mindset. He is confused by Doddy's words, which seem sweet only on the lips.

Well, that certainly makes me wonder, is it always like this, every word. Today it's tempe, tomorrow it's kedele, or today it's kedele, tomorrow it's tempe. Is that so? Sometimes I feel confused about how to respond to it," he said.

4. Disappointed

Doddy Sudrajat's decision to appeal the guardianship of Gala Sky has left Haji Faisal disappointed. 

"So basically, for me, I feel disappointed. I feel disappointed with the attitude that Pak Doddy took to appeal. Actually, if he didn't appeal, the problem for me, I would have wanted to reconcile, to open the door, to establish a harmonious relationship again. Yes, I'm related to him, this grandchild is also his grandchild," he said.
