Kapanlagi.com - Ridho Rhoma has been released from prison today, Monday (2/5). As is known, Ridho had previously served a prison sentence at Cipinang Prison, East Jakarta, after being caught in a drug abuse case.
The Dangdut singer's release was reported by the head of Cipinang Class 1 Prison, Tony Nainggolan.
"This afternoon at around 3:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time), he will be handed over to Bapas [Correctional Institution]," said Tony on Monday (2/5).
Furthermore, Tony also confirmed that Ridho would be released from prison immediately after being handed over to Bapas.
"Yes (he will be released immediately)," he answered briefly.

However, Tony admitted that he did not know whether Ridho would go straight home after being released from prison.
"I'm not sure, we haven't asked him yet," said Tony.

On the other hand, Tony emphasized that Ridho still had to report regularly. "He must report every month," added Tony.
Previously, Ridho was rumored to be released on Tuesday (5/5) but it turned out that Ridho was released earlier. Tony said that they had proposed Eid al-Fitr remission and conditional release for Ridho.
"He could be released on the 2nd, at the latest on the 3rd," he said.
