Dhanurendra, Dirty Frank's Vocalist, Releases Debut Solo Single 'Human', with a Religious Theme

Kapanlagi.com - After successfully introducing the singles Bannga Masuk TV and Demokrasi Palsu with the band Dirty Frank, Yuddie Vedder Dhanurendra is now trying to embark on a solo career. Recently, Yuddie introduced his own solo single entitled Human.

According to YV, as he is affectionately called, the single Human has a religious theme. "The lyrics of Human are themed on religion, but not just one religion, so it's more global. The bottom line is that as humans, we are nothing without God," explained Dhanurendra in Jakarta on Monday (01/05/22).

YV and his team then worked on the music video for Human, which was shot in Yogyakarta. YV admitted that the city holds a special place in his heart.

"For me, it's like a blessing, because I planned to make the music video in Jakarta, but the creative team asked to do it in Yogyakarta instead. So I'm really happy, because I remember my college days in Yogyakarta. The locations were Gumuk Pasir, Cemara Sewu, and the Malioboro area at point zero," added YV.

The personnel involved in the making of this solo project are YV's own friends, such as Alex Kuple (Bass/keyboard), Opick Bayou (Guitar), Dodi Wax (Drum). For mixing and mastering, YV entrusted Bayu Randu.

The distribution process of the single Human is fully entrusted to MusicBlast. Then for promotion matters, besides utilizing social media, YV will also utilize online media and several Radio stations.

"For this promotion, we will utilize Radio and online media. Of course, also social media. For Radio, it can be requested directly," added YV again.

2. Stay Creative Amidst Busyness

In truth, YV has been busy with his culinary business, Ayam Kremes Manteb Men in Malioboro Mall Yogyakarta. However, amidst his busyness, he still shows his creativity by writing several songs, including the song Human which was released coinciding with Eid al-Fitr 1443 H.

"Basically, even though I try to release a solo single, it won't disrupt the journey of my band Dirty Frank. So Dirty Frank will continue as usual. Hopefully, this song can be accepted by the public," YV concluded.
