Doddy Sudrajat's Request for Guardianship and Inheritance Rights Denied by the Court, Here's the Reason...

Kapanlagi.com - The latest development comes from the request for guardianship and inheritance rights submitted by Doddy Sudrajat at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. In today's virtual hearing on Monday (27/12/2021), it was determined that Doddy's request was denied.

As known, Doddy Sudrajat submitted a request for guardianship rights for his grandson named Gala Sky Andriansyah. Also, the appointment of an heir for his eldest daughter named Vanessa Angel, who died in a single accident.

"We inform that the case of the request submitted by Doddy Sudrajat regarding the guardianship of the child named Gala Sky Andriansyah and the appointment of an heir for Vanessa Adzania has been litigated. Which means that the parties did not attend," said Jajat Sudrajat, the spokesperson for the Central Jakarta Religious Court, when met at his office.

"The panel has read out the verdict as we conveyed last week. And both the guardianship of the child and the appointment of an heir have been rejected," Jajat continued.

The reason for the rejection of the guardianship application is because the same case is currently being heard in the West Jakarta Religious Court. The applicant is Faisal, who is Vanessa Angel's father-in-law.

"Because the case of child guardianship is being processed in the West Jakarta Religious Court. And the case has been filed there first. Based on that, the panel cannot accept the case," said Jajat.

2. Reasons for the Rejection of the Inheritance Case

Meanwhile, the application for the determination of heirs was not accepted because Doddy Sudrajat does not yet have the legal standing to represent Vanessa Angel. Because Vanessa's inheritance was given to Gala Sky Andriansyah.

"Then the inheritance case was filed by Doddy. In his petitum, he requested to be designated as the heir of the deceased for his child. However, the applicant does not yet have the legal standing to represent his child. Because the case is still being processed in West Jakarta, it cannot be accepted," explained Jajat.

3. Waiting for the Completion of Faisal's Hearing

Doddy Sudrajat's request can only be executed after the request from the in-laws is completed at the West Jakarta Court. And that's if Doddy plans to make another request.

"Because the substance of the case is the same as in West Jakarta, the Jakarta Central Religious Court declares it cannot be accepted," said Jajat.
