Due to the Character in the Soap Opera 'Ikrar Cinta Suci', Ben Kasyafani is Teased by His Child

Kapanlagi.com - Ben Kasyafani once again grabs attention through his role as Sandi in the soap opera Ikrar Cinta Suci on SCTV. His character, involved in infidelity and household conflicts, makes many viewers frustrated.

Even his own daughter, Sienna, joins in teasing him when she sees him on screen. Ben revealed that his daughter has started to recognize the character he plays and often teases him while watching together.

"Now Sienna has started to tease me when I watch the show. She says, 'Mas... Mas, I'm like this, Mas', 'Mas, how are you, Mas'," said Ben Kasyafani at a recent virtual press conference.

Meanwhile, his wife prefers to be his discussion partner regarding his acting on screen. "My wife just asks because we often watch together. Sometimes she just gives reactions, whether it's emotional or not. So my wife becomes a discussion partner," he said.

1. Be a Discussion Friend

Even though he often gets teased, Ben still explains to his child that this is part of his job as an actor. "It's fun to be a discussion friend. Sienna keeps teasing me, I just say, 'Don't tease me, I earn from this'," Ben said, then laughed.

Together with his wife, Ben also ensures that every scene he performs can convey the right emotions to the audience. "With my wife, I ask if the emotions are there or not, the sadness, the anger, the tension, is it there or not?" he said.

2. About His Role as Sandi

In this soap opera, Ben plays the role of Sandi, a man caught in a cheating scandal that leads to a major conflict in his household. "Sandi here is Risa's husband, Arka's younger brother. The story begins with an affair with Alin that results in an unplanned pregnancy. Sandi and Risa's household is disturbed because Alin is seeking responsibility," Ben explained.

The conflict intensifies when Alin becomes bolder in disrupting Sandi's household. "As the story develops, Alin becomes more aggressive; she's a character who wants to ruin the household. Sandi has to make a choice. Moving forward, it will be brutal. He will have to be more forceful in getting rid of Alin because she disturbs his household," he added.

3. Entertaining Soap Opera

Although the story is full of drama and conflict, this soap opera still presents light moments that entertain. "Sandi's career is disrupted because of Alin, her evil deeds are becoming more apparent. But this soap opera is emotional, there are happy, sad, and entertaining sides. We want to create something light and comedic, the characters here do bad things but people can still laugh," concluded Ben.
