Dul Jaelani Reveals the Recipe for 4 Years of Dating Tissa Biani

When asked about the differences that might arise in their relationship, Dul explained that there is no perfect match. According to him, what matters is the ability to accept each other's shortcomings and strengths. 

“Well, I think a perfect match won't exist 100 percent. We probably just need to learn to accept each other. Accept each other's shortcomings. Accept each other's strengths,” he said.

Dul also added that looking for a partner who is 100 percent compatible may not be realistic. “It’s not about understanding, it’s about acceptance. If someone is really looking for a 100% match, it seems like they might as well find 7 twins,” said Dul jokingly.

When asked who compromises more in their relationship, Dul mentioned that both of them strive for tolerance. “If we’ve been dating for almost 4 years, it seems like both of us compromise a lot. So both of us are tolerant of each other,” he explained.

Dul continued, at the beginning of dating it is indeed normal to have misunderstandings, but over time they have come to understand each other. “In the beginning, it’s normal because it’s dating. Sometimes there are misunderstandings. But now, I understand how it is,” he added.

When asked if there was ever a moment when Dul Jaelani did not fulfill Tissa Biani's request, such as picking her up, Tissa revealed that it could still be tolerated if Dul's reason was work commitments. “If the reason is being busy with work, that can still be tolerated. So I understand too,” she said.

Tissa also explained that Dul is always honest about his situation. “But if there’s no event and he says he’s busy, that’s never the case. Most of the time, if he’s busy, he’s really busy. He’s honest like that. If he’s tired, he’s really tired,” she added.
