Kapanlagi.com - Anwar BAB has targets during the month of Ramadan. He admits that he will increase his worship during this Ramadan. Despite having a busy schedule, Anwar will still force himself to go to the mosque for tarawih prayers.

In Ramadan 2024, Anwar has decided to reduce his work. Especially, limiting the iftar program, so that he can spend time with his family at home.

"In the past, I used to still think about work, so my tarawih prayers were still incomplete. But now, Anwar says masha Allah, I don't want to miss it," said Anwar BAB in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (14/3/2024).

"So when I come home from work, even if my eyes are sleepy and tired, I force myself to go to the mosque," added Anwar BAB.

Anwar said that reciting the Quran is his target for this Ramadan. Every day, he aims to read 2 pages of the Quran after performing the 5 daily prayers.

"No matter how many juz, as long as it's 2 pages. Like 2 pages for Dhuhr, 2 pages for Asr. If I skip work, I double it at night. I missed 2 pages earlier. If I pray for a day, it means 10 pages, right?" he said.

Anwar strives to live a balanced life between work and worship. No matter how difficult or how much work he has to face, he feels comfortable and peaceful after performing his worship.

"More balanced, mashallah. Honestly, I used to feel tired when I had a lot of work. But now, even with a lot of work, sorry, balanced worship, I feel like masha Allah nice, good," Anwar expressed.

Anwar's awareness to increase worship in the month of Ramadan was influenced by the sermon he heard in a study.

Anwar quoted a message from the sermon, that no one can guarantee that we will meet the blessed and forgiving Ramadan next year.

"He said this, Ramadan is a month that not everyone can get. Alhamdulillah, Anwar is given a long life to reach Ramadan," he said.

"So the preacher said, consider it the last Ramadan. So if I haven't prayed Maghrib yet, in my heart I'm like, this is the last Maghrib," he concluded.
