Not Fortune or Inner Peace, Anwar BAB Always Prays for a Hijab-Wearing Woman as His Soulmate

Anwar BAB asks Allah to fulfill his desire. He hopes for a partner who shares the same faith, a hijab-wearing woman, and accepts him as he is.

"Just pray for it. This Ramadan, I ask a lot from Allah, really. Every prayer, I don't ask for wealth or inner peace," said Anwar BAB in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Thursday (14/3/2024).

"I ask, O Allah, hopefully Anwar will be given a soulmate next year after Eid, someone beautiful, wearing hijab, a Muslim, who can accept me and get married. I don't want to date anymore," added Anwar BAB.

1. Waiting for a Soul Mate

Anwar admits that as he gets older, the need to have a life partner often haunts him. Until now, he is still waiting for a soul mate entrusted by God.

"Apparently, as we get older, we think about life. Fortune will definitely come, but now I still don't have a partner," he said.

2. Keeping Busy

Therefore, Anwar chooses to keep himself busy in the hope of diverting his attention from the desire to immediately have a partner. He is grateful to still have the opportunity to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

"That's why Anwar says, when taking a job, forget one side," he added.

3. Limiting Work During Ramadan

Nevertheless, Anwar has decided to limit his work during Ramadan. In particular, he will reduce his participation in iftar programs, as he wants to spend time with his family at home.

"This year, there are a few iftar events that I won't take, maybe in the middle. Because I want to take the opportunity to be with my family," Anwar concluded.
