Edward officially returned Kimberly's car, while Kimberly withdrew the police report she had previously filed. This was directly stated by Edward in front of the media.

"The issue is resolved, we have made peace. There are no more problems. I handed the car back to Kim," said Edward Akbar at the South Jakarta Metro Police.

As a form of appreciation for the achieved peace, Edward also expressed his gratitude to Kimberly. He admitted feeling very relieved that this process could be resolved well and peacefully.

"Basically, thank you Kimberly and KH and the related parties, that the allegations of embezzlement over the past year are not true, but we are at peace, in a family way apologizing to each other," he said.

In addition to resolving the issue, Edward also hopes that his good name can be restored after being involved in this case. He even asked Kimberly for help in restoring his reputation.

"I, Edward Akbar, am ready to work again, because the last year has been filled with news swirling around. I hope in the future I can create again, with directors and producers who believe in my skills," he explained.

Edward stated that he holds no grudges and does not blame anyone in this matter. He just wants to be able to focus again on the profession he has long pursued.

"Yes, I want to work again. But I know that sustenance has been arranged since we were in the womb, thank you everyone," said Edward Akbar.

Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar first met while shooting the film Air Terjun Pengantin (2013), and they became closer when they reunited in the film Runaway in Hong Kong (2014).
