"Yesterday, the mediation was declared unsuccessful as of September 2. So, there was also an immediate reading of the mediation results, which stated it failed," said I Wayan Vajra Fhany Jaya.

According to Vajra, both Dahlia and Fandy were present at the last mediation session. However, strong differences in principles led to a deadlock in the reconciliation efforts.

"Yesterday, on the 2nd, both were present. It was the final mediation and it was declared unsuccessful, and it was stated to have failed and immediately continued to the examination of the case," he explained.

With the failure of mediation, the legal process now moves to the next stage, which is the examination of the main case. Fandy's party has also provided an official response to the lawsuit filed by Dahlia.

"And on the 9th, three days ago, Mr. Fandy's party has submitted his response letter, through his lawyer, which essentially states that Mr. Fandy refuses to divorce," Vajra explained.

One of the obstacles in mediation is Fandy's attitude of not wanting to discuss matters related to post-divorce, such as joint custody, because he remains firm in his stance of not wanting to separate.
