Eid at Home, Rano Karno Still Maintains the Tradition of Giving Envelopes to Children

Kapanlagi.com - Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Muslims around the world have to experience a different atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr. Like what Rano Karno felt, he admitted feeling sad because this year he couldn't celebrate Eid as in previous years' traditions.

"There is indeed a feeling of sadness, it really feels as an individual that we have to evaluate ourselves, what is happening, I am sure Allah will not test beyond our abilities," said Rano when met in Jakarta, Sunday (24/5).

Not only himself, Rano Karno said that his children and grandchildren also felt a significant difference in this year's Eid moment. In order to enliven the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr, he chose to continue the tradition of distributing envelopes.

"Yes, the children are the ones who feel it the most, it can't be denied that a few pennies will definitely buy clothes. This definitely feels for the children and grandchildren so I still give envelopes, I said this is for buying clothes next year but we have to make the situation relaxed," said the actor of the movie Si Doel the Movie.

2. Hoping for Improved Conditions

Although there is a feeling of sadness for not being able to gather with family as usual, this Doel actor still follows the government's advice to stay at home in order to break the chain of the spread of covid 19. He hopes that this situation can improve soon.

"We hope this test doesn't last too long because many have felt its extraordinary impact. But yes, minal aidin wal faizin, please forgive me physically and spiritually. We have to accept this situation this year," he said.
