Eight Months After Brain Hemorrhage, Comedian Tukul Arwana Can Understand Things Better and Respond

Eight months later, Rizky Kimon, Tukul's manager and family representative, reported that Tukul's condition is improving. Now, he can understand things better and respond.

"Mas Tukul's condition has shown good progress until today. His movements are increasing, and his understanding is better than before. Usually, when he meets someone, he is still confused about who they are, but now he is more focused," said Kimon, who was met in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, on Monday night (23/5/2022).

1. Do Three Therapies

For the past few months, Tukul Arwana has been undergoing three therapies regularly in order to recover. One of them is speech therapy so that he can speak again.

"The therapy is still the same, there is occupation therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, and he is also helped by the clinic for his recovery. These three therapies are done alternately, for example, today he has occupation therapy and physiotherapy, tomorrow he has physiotherapy and speech therapy. For speech therapy, he learns A, I, U, E, O, but he can already say A and O, slowly but surely," Kimon continued.

2. Monitor Until Normal Condition

Those three therapies will be done until Tukul Arwana can return to his previous condition. How long will the family need to be patient and surrender?

"The process will be done until Mas Tukul recovers. As for how long, my family and I are not sure until when. What is certain is that we will continue to monitor Mas Tukul until he recovers," said Kimon.

3. Monitored by Doctor Terawan

During his illness, Tukul Arwana's condition was apparently monitored directly by Doctor Terawan. The doctor also suggested that Tukul get the Nusantara vaccine.

"Fortunately, Mas Tukul is being monitored by Doctor Terawan, so yesterday Doctor Terawan gave advice to be given the Nusantara vaccine. Until now, there are no side effects. Hopefully, there won't be any adverse effects. What is certain is that Mas Tukul is healthy now," said Kimon.

4. Missing the Entertainment World

Tukul Arwana's longing for the entertainment world was not conveyed directly to Rizky Kimon. However, if Tukul is watching television or YouTube, Rizky Kimon has asked about his longing for shooting activities to the 58-year-old presenter.

"I don't convey it directly. It's just that sometimes I watch YouTube together with him. I'm the one who speaks in Javanese. 'How are you, Mas? Do you miss it? Let's recover and shoot again, have a job again. That's what he misses. (Response) He uses a gesture (thumbs up)," said Rizky Kimon.
