Elza Agustine, Refuses to be Labeled as an Artist who Only Relies on Looks

Kapanlagi.com - Soap opera star and model Elza Agustine admits to never being satisfied with expanding her knowledge in the world of acting. Because, she doesn't want to be labeled as an artist who only relies on looks.

“As an artist, it's not enough to just have physical appearance and experience. It has to be more than that. Knowledge, skill, and attitude are also very important,” she explained to the media after attending a full-day workshop with the theme; Knowledge, Skill & Attitude of Indonesian Artists, organized by the Indonesian Television & Film Expert Association (PATFI), not long ago.

The woman who often stars in various FTV titles by Mega Kreasi Film equips herself with acting training and learns from seniors. However, Elza admitted that all her skills and knowledge would be useless without good behavior.

"And most importantly, I must also understand the principles of behavior of someone called an artist. Because this greatly influences my existence and job opportunities. If I don't prioritize these three, it will be difficult for me to be present in the professional scene," she said.

Elza further expressed gratitude for passing the competency test and obtaining a certificate, which serves as her capital to compete in the global industry.

"I don't want to be a problematic film artist with those who give me jobs, whether it's film producers, directors, or related parties. So, I'm really grateful to be a part of this competency test," she said.
