Enno Lerian Reveals Her Reasons for Deciding to Wear Hijab

Kapanlagi.com - In early 2017, former child singer Enno Lerian made a big decision to wear hijab. She did this shortly after receiving news that she was pregnant with her third child. However, at that time, no one knew the exact reason why Enno chose to wear hijab.

And for the first time, Enno revealed her reasons for wearing hijab when she was invited as a guest on the program Call Me Mel hosted by Melaney Ricardo and Ichsan Akbar. On the same occasion, the 36-year-old woman also shared a little about her married life.

"(Wearing hijab) is more because of marriage. I realized that being married is not like what we imagine, like kids nowadays who want to get married quickly to be famous on Instagram. If you don't know what marriage is really like, hmm," Enno said as quoted by KapanLagi.com through the Youtube channel Call Me Mel.

1. Want to Focus on Embracing the Role of a Wife

Enno does not deny that her husband's encouragement also greatly influenced her decision to wear the hijab. Besides that, as a mother of 3 children, she really wants to focus on worship while embracing the role of a wife.

"So, because if we are in a household, especially if we are a wife, whether we like it or not, it is our duty as a wife to obey our husband, to follow all his wishes. From there, it's like a battle between ego and obligations, because if this is our role, it means it is Allah's request," Enno recalled.

"So, I decided to really focus on worship. One of them is, God willing, being a wife who embraces her role," Enno concluded.
