Enzy Storia's Tears After Vidi Aldiano, A Sincere Smile from a Friend

The wife of diplomat Maulana Kasetra tries to stay strong and gather her heart to accept this bitter reality. The 33-year-old actress feels somewhat comforted remembering that her close friend is now free from the shackles of pain that have long burdened her body.

"As her friend, I also feel happy and relieved. Of course, I'm sad, but I feel more happiness because Vidi is at peace, especially being called on a day that, God willing, is good during the month of Ramadan. I actually envy and want to have good deeds like Vidi's. I want to be as serene as Vidi," she said.

The departure of this very friendly musician encapsulates a complex struggle in the realm of health. The husband of actress Sheila Dara Aisha had previously shared the reality that he was diagnosed with kidney cancer, which forced him to undergo a series of medical therapies before finally passing away.

"To all my friends, please pray for Vidi, I'm sorry if Vidi has made any mistakes," he requested.

Enzy then revealed how intense the interaction was with the late friend during the final moments. He ensured that he was always monitoring his best friend's condition regularly every day, especially as the singer's health drastically worsened.

"I communicated almost every day with Vidi, so before Vidi dropped, we were still in touch. One day before Vidi left, I still met with Vidi, still (holding back tears) joking with Vidi," he reminisced.

In the midst of that crucial meeting, Enzy explained that his friend no longer had the strength to respond to his words. Nevertheless, the musician still struggled to respond by moving his hand as a sign that he acknowledged Enzy's presence, a small gesture that left a mark of happiness in his heart. "So when I heard the news, I was already sincere. Thank you, friends, so I can process everything too. Thank you," he concluded.
