The divorce hearing between Andre Taulany and his wife, Erin Taulany, was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court today, Wednesday, (15/10). However, the hearing, which was scheduled to be attended by both parties, once again took place without Erin, who claimed to be ill.

Erin's absence this time caused disappointment from Andre's side. Through his attorney, Galih Rakasiwi, it was stated that Andre had prepared himself to attend and participate in the hearing properly, but it was canceled because the respondent did not show up.
"Disappointed, of course. Essentially disappointed. Earlier, I also heard from Mr. Haji (Andre) about such news, but it goes back again, Mr. Haji also does not want to violate the court's rules in this matter," said Galih when met after the hearing at the South Jakarta Religious Court.
According to Galih, Andre was actually ready to attend if Erin also came. However, because there was news that Erin would not be present again, Andre finally delegated his representation to his legal counsel. "Earlier, if there was someone from the respondent's side who wanted to come, Mr. Haji would come. But then we heard that he would not come, so what should we do? It has been represented to me," he added.
Galih also revealed that communication between Andre and Erin is now completely severed. There has been no personal contact since the previous mediation failed. "There is no longer (communication), they have not come to mediation," said Galih.
He added that all communication is now only conducted through their respective legal representatives. "As for communication from the petitioner to the respondent, there is no communication anymore. Whether it's via WhatsApp, Instagram, and so on, there is none. So the only connection is through the legal representatives," he explained.
Galih also admitted that he had hoped Erin would attend the hearing today to clarify the next steps after the divorce."I thought she would come, Mr. Haji came here with enthusiasm. Let's discuss how this will go, not about the issue of not getting divorced, the point is divorce. Maybe it's a consequence of after the divorce, but it turns out she did not attend," Galih concluded.
With Erin's absence this time, the hearing was postponed again. The court has scheduled the next hearing for Friday, (17/10) for the continuation of Andre and Erin's case.
