Kapanlagi.com - Jessica Iskandar and her small family spent their long year-end holiday by traveling to Turkey. For about ten days, the woman who is familiarly called Jedar traveled around Istanbul and Cappadocia.
This mother of two admitted that she prepared for the vacation hastily. She even asked for the help of a travel agent to arrange the hotel and other necessities.
"It was a sudden trip because at that time I didn't know if I would get a holiday or not. As soon as I received news of the holiday from December 30th to January 9th, I immediately booked tickets and handed everything over to the travel agent," said Jessica when met at Studio 6 Emtek City, Daan Mogot area, West Jakarta, last week.

While in Turkey, Jessica Iskandar, Vincent Verhaag, and their two children toured historic mosques. Jedar was even amazed when she set foot in Hagia Sophia and saw replicas of belongings belonging to Prophet Muhammad.
"We visited many locations, including fifteen mosques, one of which is a church that has been converted into a mosque called Hagia Sophia, it's really beautiful. We also went to the museum to see Prophet Muhammad's robe, sandals, footprints, and hair. We were fascinated. Our whole family was really happy to see how great Prophet Muhammad was," explained Jedar.

Jessica Iskandar stayed in one of the cave-shaped hotels in Cappadocia. Although beautiful, she was scared after being told about a tragic incident that happened in the hotel.
"In Cappadocia, we stayed in a cave hotel. We were told about an incident where a mother and her two children were buried under rocks in a cave and died. Every night, I was scared, thinking 'Oh God, we are staying in rocks, we don't know how strong they are. Especially since we were staying on the lower floor'. It was a bit terrifying, but we just prayed and trusted," Jedar added.
