Experiencing Miscarriage During IVF Program, Okan Kornelius and May Lee Admit Trauma

Kapanlagi.com - In December last year, the couple Okan Kornelius and May Lee who were undergoing an IVF program experienced a miscarriage. This ordeal was admitted by Okan to bring trauma to both of them.

However, Okan believes that he and his wife will recover from the trauma they experienced as time goes by. Although it was difficult at first, they always support each other and learn to accept God's will.

"Yes, initially it definitely had a sad impact. But as time goes by, it's not a big deal. It's something normal to happen if it's not God's will, so we just strengthen ourselves to not be too traumatized for too long," said Okan Kornelius when met in the Kapten Tendean Street area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Friday (13/3).

When asked about plans to try the IVF program again, Okan admitted that he has not planned it in the near future. Besides the trauma, the rampant spread of the virus also makes Okan afraid to go anywhere, including the hospital.

"Oh yes, later, because maybe still traumatized. Let's just live what exists, now there is also a virus outbreak. So it's not the right time yet. Because we are also afraid to go to the hospital, it's confusing, right?" said the German-born man.

2. The Most Important Thing is Health

To repeat the program, Okan still needs more time and preparation. If the right moment comes, Okan doesn't mind the gender of his future child. The most important thing for him is that the child can be born in a healthy condition.

"Whether it's a girl or a boy, the most important thing is health. So later, if it's given by God, the most important thing is health," concluded Okan Kornelius.
