This news certainly shocked Melitha's fans and relatives. In fact, Melitha had just turned 23 on January 8, 2024. She passed away due to heart disease and was buried in San Diego Hills. Her departure has deeply wounded her family and fans of her songs.

The singer of PENOLONG YANG SETIA was born in Balige, Lake Toba, North Sumatra on January 8, 2001. She was the younger sister who was born two minutes after her twin sister, Melisha Sidabutar. Melisha passed away earlier on December 8, 2020 due to heart disease. Melitha and Melisha were known as twin siblings who always spent time together in any situation. The most touching fact is that their birth and departure dates both fell on the 8th.

Melitha, along with Melisha, first showcased their singing abilities when they participated in the first season of Idol Junior in 2014. Melitha successfully made it through, but her journey ended at Spectacular 2 round.

Not stopping there, Melitha and Melisha continued auditioning for the 11th season of Indonesian Idol (Special Season). Again and again, Melitha did not get the opportunity to advance to the next round after performing the song 'DEALOVA' by Once Mekel.

Melitha didn't give up easily and continued to spread her wings in the music industry. Her maximum effort made her known as a singer of spiritual songs among the community. Eventually, she successfully joined Impact Music Indonesia, and her song 'PENOLONG YANG SETIA' became the only spiritual song trending on YouTube in 2020. Amazing!
