Kapanlagi.com - The Jombang District Court held the first trial of a fatal accident case with defendant Tubagus Muhammad Joddy, on Thursday (27/1/2022).
The trial was conducted virtually and has been completed with the reading of the indictment for Joddy.
"It's already finished. (The trial was conducted) virtually," said Krista, one of the staff members of the Jombang District Court when contacted.
Krista stated that the trial was scheduled for reading the indictment. The Public Prosecutor's Office charged Joddy with Article 311 paragraph (5) of the Indonesian Law No. 23 of 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation, Article 311 paragraph (3) of the Indonesian Law No. 23 of 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation.

Joddy is also charged with alternative articles, namely Article 310 paragraph (4) of the Indonesian Law number 22 of 2009 regarding traffic and road transportation, and Article 310 paragraph (3) of the Indonesian Law number 22 of 2009 regarding traffic and road transportation.
"The charges have been read. Charged with Article 310 and 311 of the Traffic and Road Transportation Law," said Krista.
For the next hearing, it will be held on Thursday next week with the agenda of listening to witness testimonies.
"The next hearing next Thursday will have the agenda of witnesses," said Krista.
As information, Joddy has been designated as a suspect in the fatal accident case that killed Vanessa Angel and her husband, Bibi Andriansyah, on November 4, 2021.
After being designated as a suspect, Joddy was immediately detained at the Jombang Police Station.
