Facts About Annie Leonhart in the Anime 'ATTACK ON TITAN' That Are Rarely Known, Here Is the Reason Behind Her Crystallization

Annie has exceptional fighting skills, especially in hand-to-hand combat. This is not only a result of her military training in the 104th Training Corps but also because she has been trained since childhood by her adoptive father.

Annie may appear cold and indifferent, but there is a deep emotional motivation behind her actions. Annie's relationship with her adoptive father is the main reason she is loyal to Marley and willing to carry out her mission as the Female Titan.

Annie is one of the few characters shown to have high intellectual abilities, including language mastery. This not only makes her excel in infiltration missions in Paradis but also helps build her character as someone who is not only physically strong but also intelligent and tactical in strategizing.

At the end of the Female Titan arc, Annie takes a dramatic step by crystallizing her body, making her untouchable and remaining in an untouched state for years. Annie chooses to crystallize herself as a way to avoid interrogation after her identity is revealed, while waiting for the right time to rise again.

Before her identity as the Female Titan was revealed, Annie was one of the unofficial mentors for Eren during military training. Eren greatly admired Annie's martial arts skills and had learned fighting techniques from her. Ironically, the lessons Annie provided helped Eren become a stronger soldier, even though they ultimately became enemies.  

Annie's Titan, the Female Titan, is one of the most agile and fastest Titan Shifters. This Titan has a slim proportion, allowing Annie to move faster compared to other Titans. Additionally, Annie's ability to harden parts of her body makes her very difficult to defeat in battle, making her one of the greatest threats to the Survey Corps.

Although Annie is often involved in battles and possesses extraordinary fighting abilities, she actually hates violence. Most of her actions are dictated by obligation, not by a desire to hurt others. Annie feels trapped in a situation that forces her to act on behalf of Marley, even though it contradicts her personal morals. This is one of the reasons why she often appears gloomy and depressed.

After years of crystallizing herself, Annie is finally freed in Season 4. Annie's return brings a new dynamic to the story, especially as she has to face the consequences of her past actions. However, on the other hand, Annie's return also shows her character growth, where she begins to be more open to the idea that the world is not always as simple as "Marley vs Eldia."
