Sonny recounted that about two weeks before Fairuz's birthday, Faaz had already asked for permission from his family. He said that he might not be able to participate in the series of events for mama's birthday from the beginning because he wanted to join a Qur'an memorization competition first.

Usually, all family members agree not to take any schedules so they can spend time together all day. However, this time, Faaz pleaded very much to be allowed to join the competition.
