"Actually, I didn’t expect anything, it just so happened that my fiancé is quite romantic, so he had thought about all of this even though I had no demands at all," said Amanda Rawles when met at XXI Epicentrum recently.
The star of the movie Satu Kakak 7 Keponakan explained that the proposal moment happened while she was enjoying a family vacation with her boyfriend. Although she sensed that something special might happen, she chose to remain relaxed and not too confident.
"It was actually a family vacation. I could actually smell that something was going on," Amanda said.
Even though she didn't want to get her hopes up too much, Amanda still prepared herself during the vacation. She admitted that she wanted to look her best every day, just in case that special moment really happened.
"I just didn't want to be overconfident either, but I still had to look beautiful every day during the vacation, just in case he proposed, I would be ready," she said.
When asked how serious the discussions about marriage with her fiancé are, Amanda chose not to reveal more details. "There will be a surprise," Amanda said briefly.
