Fariz RM Apologizes to His Children and Wife After Being Arrested by Police for the Fourth Time Related to Drugs

Kapanlagi.com - Musician Fariz RM is once again in trouble with the police regarding allegations of possession of marijuana and meth. This arrest adds to the long list of similar cases involving him, marking the fourth time he has been caught up in legal issues due to drugs.

The singer of the song "Sakura" expressed his apologies to his family and fellow musicians for his actions.

"First, I want to apologize to my family, my wife, and my children, then to my colleagues related to work and my profession, for this incident which was unexpected," said Fariz RM at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (20/2/2025).

1. Request for Prayer

In addition, he also asked for prayers that the legal process he is undergoing can proceed smoothly and safely. "Therefore, I ask for the prayers of all my friends so that the legal process regarding the violations I committed can run smoothly, easily, and safely. God willing, amen," he continued.

Fariz RM expressed his regret for falling back into drug cases, especially considering this is the fourth time he has faced similar issues.

"Yes, of course, because I have repeatedly stopped every time I finished a case," he said.

2. Arrest of ADK

In the arrest, the police also apprehended ADK, who is suspected of being the intermediary for Fariz in obtaining drugs. Based on the examination results, ADK received a fee of Rp100,000 to Rp200,000 for each transaction carried out.

"For each purchase of the evidence, ADK was instructed by FRM to receive a fee of Rp100 - Rp200 thousand. And from the suspect's confession, the items belong to suspect FRM, for personal consumption," explained the Deputy Head of the Narcotics Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Telly Areska Putra.
