Nikita Mirzani Becomes a Suspect in Alleged Extortion, Examination Postponed

Kapanlagi.com - The case of alleged extortion and threats involving Nikita Mirzani has entered a new phase. Nikita, along with a man with the initials IM, has officially been named a suspect by the Investigators of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya.

"It is true, Ms. NM and Mr. IM have been designated as suspects by the Investigators of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya based on sufficient evidence and the results of the case presentation," said the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi when met at Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta, Thursday (20/2/2025).

1. Nikita Reported by Skincare Entrepreneur

The determination of the suspect status is a continuation of the report from a skincare entrepreneur with the initials RGP. The victim reported Nikita to the Metro Jaya Police on December 3, 2024, on charges of threats and suspected money laundering (TPPU).

In the report, RGP revealed that Nikita allegedly defamed her and her products through a live broadcast on TikTok. The victim also claimed to have been contacted by Nikita's party with a threatening tone.

"On November 13, 2024, the victim tried to contact the reported party through her assistant via WhatsApp with the intention of establishing good relations. However, the response received contained threats," said Kombes Ade Ary.

2. RGP Feels Threatened

According to the victim, the threats led her to transfer an amount of Rp 2 billion to the account directed by Nikita's party. Not stopping there, on November 15, 2024, the victim was again asked to hand over cash amounting to Rp 2 billion.

Feeling pressured, RGP finally decided to report this case to the authorities. Although scheduled to be examined as a suspect on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM WIB, the examination of Nikita and IM had to be postponed.

3. Postponement of Suspect Examination

The reason put forward by the legal counsel is due to work that cannot be left or delegated. They also submitted a request to reschedule the examination for Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM WIB.

"The investigator has received a letter of postponement of the examination against the suspects named Sdri. NM and Sdr. IM from their legal counsel on February 19, 2025," explained Kombes Ade Ary.
