Nikita Mirzani Reports Two Cases to South Jakarta Police, Here is the Police Explanation

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Nikita Mirzani is back in the spotlight. On Wednesday (12/2/2025), she visited the South Jakarta Metro Police to report two cases that were referred to as alleged defamation and violations of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law).

The Acting Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, confirmed the report when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police. According to Nurma, there are two reports submitted by Nikita regarding the alleged violations she experienced.

As for the reported party, it is still under investigation. What is reported is the ITE Law article 27 paragraph 1 juncto 45," said Nurma, Thursday (12/2/2025).

The first report, continued Nurma, relates to inappropriate actions on social media. “The reason why NM reported the first case is that the victim's face and body were replaced with the body of an animal,” she explained.

1. Nikita's Second Report

In addition, Nikita also reported the second case recorded in LP 508/II/2025. This time, the report relates to defamation through electronic media. In this case, the reported party is referred to by the initials FS.

“The article applied here is defamation through electronic media, the same as article 27. Then juncto 45 A. The reporter and the victim are NM, and the reported party is FS,” added Nurma.

This second case was triggered by a post on Instagram that was deemed insulting to Nikita. “What made NM come to the South Jakarta Police was seeing a post on IG with words or statements that were not good. That is, the victim was said to be HIV positive. That is what made NM come to the South Jakarta Police yesterday,” revealed Nurma.

2. Ongoing Legal Process

When reporting, Nikita did not come alone. She was accompanied by her lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid. However, at that time, the police had not yet questioned Nikita as the reporter.

“She just reported after coming to the South Jakarta Police, then reported the case that befell her,” Nurma explained further.

Evidence in the form of an Instagram post has also been submitted to the police. “That was brought yesterday, shown at SPKT. That is what constitutes the evidence,” said Nurma.

Currently, Nikita's report has been received and will be followed up by the South Jakarta Police. The schedule for calling Nikita as the reporter will be determined in the near future.

“Later when it is scheduled, after there is a date, day, and time, we will definitely update,” concluded Nurma.
