Larasati Nugroho Reveals the Chronology of the Accident That Happened to Her in South Jakarta

The incident occurred in the Ulujami area, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, while Larasati was on her way home after filming. Larasati detailed how the accident happened and the condition she experienced at that time.

Larasati recounted that she was on her way home after finishing filming and had stopped by a friend's house. After that, Larasati dropped her friend off before finally returning alone in the car. Heavy rain at that time worsened the road conditions, which was the main factor in the accident.

"So the story is I was coming home from filming, then I met my friend at my aunt's house. After that, I dropped her off, and I was alone in the car while it was raining," Larasati said recounting the beginning of the journey, when she was met at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday (4/2/2025).

Larasati explained that she was not driving at high speed. However, the slippery road conditions due to the rain made her car unstable. "I was driving at a normal speed, it's in the report if you want the details. But because of the rain, my left tire burst," she continued.

1. The Unfortunate Journey Home

A flat tire in the middle of a heavy rain made Larasati struggle to control the car. After the tire burst, Larasati tried to brake, but the car skidded instead. The increasingly difficult situation made her try to control the car to avoid hitting other vehicles. However, the accident was unavoidable.

"After the tire burst, I tried to brake but ended up skidding. So I tried to control it, I was in control. I wasn't sleepy, and I slightly brushed against a motorcycle, then it skidded more," she explained.

The accident worsened when Larasati felt it was safer to steer her car into an alley rather than hit someone else on the road. Although she tried to avoid it, the car still hit a cart, a tree, and ultimately flipped over. This incident was very tense for Larasati, as the car doors could not be opened after it flipped.

"Rather than hitting someone else, it was better for me to steer into the alley. I hit the cart again, I thought that was it, then there was a tree and I crashed into it, and the car flipped over," Larasati recalled the incident.

2. Tense Moments and Community Help

With the car flipped over and the door unable to be opened, Larasati panicked. Fortunately, there were locals nearby who quickly helped open the back door of the car and rescue her. She got out safely thanks to the prompt assistance of the residents.

“The car door couldn’t be opened, smoke was coming out in front of me. Thank God there were locals who opened the back door, so I got out through the back door. At that moment, my boyfriend called and came to the scene,” said Larasati.

Regarding the motorcyclist who fell after being bumped by her car, Larasati stated that although the motorcycle fell, the rider did not suffer serious injuries. Larasati also emphasized that the condition of the motorcyclist was fine after the incident.

"Did the motorcyclist who got bumped fall? Yes, they did, but they are safe, no serious injuries," she explained.
