Father of Comedian Eko Patrio Dies at Home Due to Illness

Kapanlagi.com - The father of comedian and politician Eko Patrio, Sumarsono Mulyo, has recently passed away. It is reported that he died from a heart disease.

This was confirmed by Andi, an assistant of the 50-year-old comedian. Andi said that Eko's father passed away on Friday afternoon due to his illness.

"Yes, it is true that he passed away, around 2 PM this afternoon, he passed away because of his illness," said Andi, when contacted by the media on Friday (2/7).

1. Not Died Because of Covid-19

Unfortunately, when asked further about the cause of death, Andi admitted that he did not know because he was not currently at the funeral home. However, he confirmed that Eko's father did not die because of Covid-19.

"Not (Covid-19). Friends asked about it, indeed this father has been sick for a long time," he said.

"Going back and forth to the hospital because of the fall at that time, thank God it's not because of Covid that he died," he added.

2. Been a Long Time Outpatient

Indeed, Eko Patrio's father has been a long time outpatient at the hospital due to a history of heart disease, two weeks ago he was said to have just returned from the hospital. In addition, Andi reiterated that the late Sumarsono Mulyo died at his residence at 2:00 PM.

"His death was due to illness. The last time, two weeks ago, he was from the hospital, because of his heart, if I'm not mistaken. No (he didn't die at home), he had already returned, from the hospital, he only went for a heart check-up," he said.
