Father of Melisha Sidabutar Reveals the Chronology of Her Death, Not Due to Heart Swelling

Kapanlagi.com - The funeral of Melisha Sidabutar, a 19-year-old Indonesian Idol contestant, was held today, Thursday (10/12) at TPU Pedurenan, Bekasi, West Java. The family, including her parents and twin sister, Melitha Sidabutar, were present to bid farewell to the beautiful girl with a golden voice.

In front of the media, Melisha Sidabutar's father, Mounstar Sidabutar, revealed the chronology of his daughter's departure. He explained that Melisha actually had no history of heart disease.

"So, she actually didn't have heart disease. Initially, she was weak, so we stayed at home because of the fear of Covid-19. After that, we took her to the hospital because her breathing was not good, and then we had an X-ray, and there was a knock on the X-ray," said Mounstar at TPU Pedurenan, Bekasi, West Java, on Thursday (10/12).

Not only that, Mounstar Sidabutar also added, "According to the doctor, there was a slight expansion in her valve because there was no cardiologist in that hospital, so we brought her home first. We planned to go to Mitra Keluarga, but before going there, we wanted to pray and have a meal with her."

"Well, after she excused herself to go to the bathroom for a moment, her mother accompanied her to the bathroom. I accompanied her because she was a bit weak. After she came out of the bathroom, she was already very weak. That was when God called her, that was the end," she reminisced.

2. Not Because of Heart Swelling

Furthermore, Mounstar also emphasized that her daughter did not die because of heart swelling as many people had reported. She believed that Melisha was only exhausted and her condition weakened before being called by God.

"Don't be mistaken, there was no heart swelling. Her heart was fine, maybe she was tired because of participating in Idol, she did have low blood pressure. So after being x-rayed, her heart was fine, there was just a slight expansion, which could actually be treated, but God had a different plan. Yes, she was tired, but I said maybe it was already God's plan," she concluded.
