Fear of Death, the Reason Five Vi Finally Decided to Convert and Wear a Veil

The big decision in her life was made because suddenly the 41-year-old woman remembered death. She was afraid that if she was called by God later, she would still be in a state of committing many sins.

"I received guidance at the age of 40, in 2019. At first, I thought about death," said Five Vi when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (22/6).

"It seems that my deeds are also lacking, what should I bring when I meet Allah," Five Vi added.

For that reason, this mother of one child is deepening her knowledge of religion so that she will have provisions if one day called by God. She wants to become a better person for the future.

"Coincidentally, I also like to see short clips of studies from Instagram. It's funny, when I want to know the laws suddenly they're there. There's a title there, if you want to get a great reward, just go for it. I immediately feel enthusiastic and want to study," she explained.

However, despite that, there are still many people who doubt the hijrah that Five Vi is doing. She doesn't want to bother about it. She believes that if it is indeed God Himself who has shown her the path of life to change into a better human being than before.

"And indeed, this decision is based on the sharia, not because of anything or a broken heart, no. Not at all," she said.

"Guidance is in the hands of Allah. So, I am grateful that I was unexpectedly drawn to it so quickly," she concluded.
