Touching, Rey Mbayang's Story of Loyally Accompanying Dinda Hauw During the Birth of Their First Child

Kapanlagi.com - Happiness is currently being felt by Rey Mbayang and Dinda Hauw. The couple, who got married on July 10, 2020, has just been blessed with a baby boy named Arshakalif Muhammad Mbayang. Dinda Hauw gave birth to her first child through a cesarean section at Bina Medika Bintaro Hospital on Sunday (20/6/2021).

"The delivery was a cesarean section, why did we decide on a cesarean section? It's because there were certain reasons," said Dinda Hauw during a virtual press conference on Monday (21/6/2021).

Playing the role of a supportive and loving husband to his wife, Rey Mbayang stayed by Dinda Hauw's side. Rey also admitted that he felt sorry seeing his wife struggling to give birth to their baby.

1. Caesarean Delivery

According to the doctor's statement, Dinda did experience amniotic rupture on Friday afternoon (12/6). Therefore, Dinda had to immediately undergo a caesarean delivery process.

"The amniotic sac ruptured, and the water kept coming out since 12 o'clock on Friday. On Saturday, we checked again because it kept coming out and it was confirmed that the amniotic sac had ruptured. So there is a risk of infection. We induced labor starting from 1 o'clock in the afternoon, for 24 hours, and the dilation only reached three centimeters. Therefore, the decision was made to perform a caesarean," said Agriana Puspitasari, the doctor who handled Dinda Hauw's delivery.

2. Continuously Accompanying His Wife

During the childbirth process, Dinda Hauw's husband, Rey, accompanied his beloved wife. Rey admitted that he couldn't bear to see Dinda struggling during the childbirth process.

"Honestly, I love my wife so much, I really love her, that I can't bear to see her in pain. I realize that as a husband, I have to continuously be a calming and strengthening figure for her. But in reality, in the operating room, maybe the doctor can see who's more panicked, hahaha," said Rey Mbayang.

"Yes, Alhamdulillah, Masya Allah, since the first day of our marriage until now, the intention has always been for worship. Alhamdulillah, we have been given happiness until now," concluded Rey Mbayang.
