Featuring Aldi Taher, Food Vlogger Mgdalenaf Says BarBarZaar Holds a Competition for SME Entrepreneurs

Kapanlagi.com - Magdalena, also known as Mgdalenaf, a celebrity Instagrammer, held a food festival event called 'BarBarZaar'. This food festival was held at the parking lot of Kasablanka Mall in South Jakarta from August 30th to September 3rd, 2023.

In this food festival event, Mgdalenaf is not alone, she is joined by her two colleagues Felix and Yudho in organizing this festival. The event was attended by more than 100 tenants who showcased food products from SMEs.

"We are aware that the culinary industry has been advancing recently. In fact, we have more than 5,000 SME food products in our database, and our goal is to provide a platform for these SMEs to promote their products," said Mgdalenaf when met during the BarBarzaar event on Wednesday night, August 30th.

Mgdalenaf also said that the process of filtering food MSME products available at BarBarzaar is done independently without any input from anywhere. The woman named Magdalena Firdawati even held a competition to find MSMEs whose products she had never tasted before, in order to have the opportunity to participate in BarBarZaar.

"So the validation is indeed from me, Felix, and Yudo. All the MSMEs here and selling their products taste suitable for the three of us, because we have tried them before," she said.

"There are more than 100 MSMEs registered. Finally, we tested all the food and selected 20 MSME products. So it is recommended by us. In addition, we also did free promotion on our social media," she continued.

2. Experiencing Significant Growth

In addition, Mgdalenaf admitted that BarBarZaar is not the first event she has organized this year. She acknowledged that every year there has been a significant increase in participants.

"I didn't expect many people to participate this year. Even on the first day, many people came. It reminds me of the initial struggle to start BarBarZaar alone and finally being able to do it with friends," she explained.
