Ferry Maryadi made a shocking confession. He admitted that he had been detained by the police in Bandung.

"Honestly, I've been to the police station, Wen," said Ferry Maryadi to Wendy Cagur on Wendy Cagur's YouTube channel, Thursday (23/11/2023).

Ferry Maryadi also recounted an incident that happened decades ago when he was still in school. He was imprisoned for a motorcycle case.

"It was about a motorcycle and it happened when I was in 1st grade of high school, and this is the first time I'm talking about it publicly," said Ferry Maryadi.

"Was it because of fighting or brawling?" asked Wendy Cagur, curious about his story.

"No, it was because of riding a motorcycle and having some issues with it, and only my late grandfather and grandmother knew about it because I was living in Bandung with them," explained Deswita Maharani's husband.

He also mentioned that he was interrogated by the authorities regarding his case.

"So, I went in and they asked me where I lived. Then they asked for my driver's license, and if I wanted to leave, they told me to call my parents here, and I said my parents were not here," said Ferry Maryadi.

2. Kept Secret from Parents

Ferry Maryadi kept the news a secret from his parents. He revealed that the only person who knew about the incident was his late grandfather.

"My mom and dad don't know, only my late grandfather knows," he said.

This husband of Deswita Maharani also mentioned that he was imprisoned for one day.

"Not long, just one day," he said. Although it was only one day, it made Ferry feel regretful and afraid of being behind bars.

3. Feeling Regretful and Afraid

Although it has passed, Ferry Maryadi still feels deterred and afraid to be involved with prison again. He doesn't want to experience the same thing or something similar that would make him detained again.

"I'm really scared, Wen," explained Ferry Maryadi. "Honestly, I'm deterred from dealing with the police, dealing with the law, I'm deterred," he added.

4. Trying to Stay Away from Negative Things

Because of his past experience of being detained, Ferry Maryadi, who feels deterred, tries to stay away from negative things. His goal, of course, is to stay away from legal problems.

"If I may be honest, I stay away from negative things like crime, drugs," he said firmly.

He always remembers the message from his grandparents to always take responsibility for his actions.

"The message from my grandparents, what I do must be responsible, never involve parents, especially you as a man, and that really hits me," Ferry Maryadi concluded.
