Feuding with Adam Deni, Jerinx SID Officially Named a Suspect in Threat Case

Kapanlagi.com - The investigator from the Jakarta Metro Police officially named Jerinx SID as a suspect in a case of alleged threats against social media activist Adam Deni. The suspect designation against the drummer of the band Superman Is Dead was issued after the investigators conducted a case review.

"Has been named as a suspect, based on the case review," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Pol. Yusri Yunus, in Jakarta, Saturday (8/7/2021).

The investigator, Yusri continued, will summon Jerinx again for questioning as a suspect at the Jakarta Metro Police on the following Monday (8/9/2021). "The plan is to summon him for questioning scheduled for Monday at the Jakarta Metro Police," he explained.

Previously, the feud between Adam Deni and the drummer of the band Superman Is Dead started when Adam commented on Jerinx's Instagram account. Adam asked Jerinx to provide evidence of a list of Indonesian artists who were accused of receiving endorsements to admit that they were exposed to Covid-19.

1. Jerinx SID's Wife Becomes a Witness

Instead of getting an answer, Adam was scolded by Jerinx. In the end, Jerinx accused Adam as the mastermind behind the disappearance of his Instagram account. Furthermore, Adam admitted to receiving insults and threats from Jerinx over the phone.

Not accepting this, Adam reported Jerinx to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police with allegations of violent threats according to Article 335 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 29 jo Article 45B of the Indonesian Law No. 19 of 2016.

Not only that, Nora Alexandra, Jerinx SID's wife, was also dragged into the alleged threat case committed by her husband against social media activist Adam Deni. Nora had to undergo questioning as a witness.

After filing the report, Jerinx apologized for his actions. However, Adam Deni refused to withdraw his complaint.
