Fighting Covid-19, Content Creator Kris Budiman Raises Rp 11 Million to be Donated

Kapanlagi.com - The Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the public of Indonesia, including public figures. This is also felt by content creator Kris Budiman, or commonly known as Krisnkros.

Kris admits that many of his jobs have been forced to be cancelled. Moreover, there are also project payments that have been delayed even though they have been completed. As a result, Kris had to sell one of his cameras to cover daily expenses.

"Because many jobs were cancelled and also payments were pending due to the impact of this corona," said the man born in Pekalongan on November 29, 1987, on Sunday (26/4).

1. Donate Rp 11 Million

Although he himself is facing difficulties, Kris feels more sorry for the daily wage workers who are also struggling during this coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, he took the initiative to raise funds to be distributed to those in need.

"The donated amount collected in 10 days was Rp 11.7 million and was spent on 100 aid packages consisting of 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of sugar, 1 liter of cooking oil, and instant noodles. They were distributed on April 25, 2020, around East and South Jakarta. The funds were collected through his team's bank account. The report will be explained in a Youtube video," explained Kris.

2. Provide Education on the Importance of Social Distancing

Kris never forgets to educate the public on following the government's advice to self-isolate at home and practice physical distancing as much as possible. Of course, he hopes that this pandemic will end soon and everyone can resume their normal activities.

"If there are no urgent activities, please continue to practice social distancing when leaving the house. We hope that this virus will disappear quickly so that all aspects of life can return to normal. And we can carry out activities as before," Kris concluded.
