Kapanlagi.com - Ari Bias officially filed a lawsuit against Agnez Mo at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN) related to allegations of copyright infringement. This lawsuit is registered under case number 92/Pdt.Sus-HKI/Cipta/2024/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst.
Ari Bias's legal team, Mario Pencawan, stated that the decision to bring this case to legal proceedings was made after they did not receive a response from Agnez Mo regarding the alleged infringement.
"Until now there has been none. Because we are actually opening up space for communication, but up to this point, there has been none, which is why we decided to file a legal effort to Niaga," said Mario when contacted by reporters on Thursday (12/9/2024).

The first hearing is scheduled to take place on September 19, 2024. Mario stated that Agnez Mo or her legal representative is required to attend the trial.
"It should be mandatory to attend. Required to attend, either Agnez Mo or her legal representative. Because this is already considered properly summoned by the court," he said.
In this initial hearing, with the agenda of reading the lawsuit. Mario emphasized that this case focuses on the alleged violation of intellectual property rights, specifically related to copyright.
"Here, the first hearing is directly the reading of the lawsuit. The material is more or less the same, because Agnes Monica used the song without permission for commercial purposes, the song "Bilang Saja" that is," he concluded.
