When met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Friday (27/8), Ilham Akbar Prawira's lawyer, Muhammad Iqbal Arbianto, confirmed this. He stated that his client has been in conflict with his wife since February 2021.
"So, since February 23, 2021, there have been quarrels between the two parties, including Dita's relatives and our client. They got married on March 1, 2020," said Muhammad Iqbal Arbianto, Ilham Prawira's legal representative.
Unfortunately, Muhammad Iqbal Arbianto refused to mention the cause of the divorce between Dita Fakhrana and Ilham Akbar Prawira. However, the lawyer guarantees that Ilham Akbar Prawira did not commit domestic violence.
"If there is no domestic violence at all because our client respects and loves his wife very much," said the lawyer.
"However, when asked about other issues that caused conflicts, I cannot explain further. In a household, if there are other parties involved, there may be debates among them," he continued.
In addition, before filing for divorce, Ilham Prawira and Dita Fakhrana have tried to resolve the issues within the family. However, it seems that this family approach did not find a solution.
"Previously, there were family meetings to settle the matter amicably, but our client has already given Dita the opportunity with certain conditions. However, Dita did not agree to some of these conditions," he added.
It is known that Ilham Prawira has filed for divorce against Dita Fakhrana at the Tigaraksa Religious Court. Not only that, both of them have also filed divorce lawsuits at the South Jakarta Religious Court and the Bekasi Religious Court, but both of these petitions were rejected.
