Finally Married After Several Postponements, Kevin Aprilio Reveals that the Pandemic is the 'Biggest Enemy' of His Wedding

"The preparation has been going on since 2019, but due to obstacles, it had to be postponed. It was supposed to be in February this year, but there was a PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions), then it was supposed to be in July, but it was affected by PSBB again. Alhamdulillah, now it can be done," said Vicy through a virtual press conference from Briedstory, which is Kevin and Vicy's wedding media partner, on Sunday (25/10).

Kevin himself added that the pandemic was the biggest obstacle in their wedding preparation. Fortunately, the wedding finally came true.

"So many obstacles because of the pandemic, so it had to be rescheduled continuously. Even though on the other side, people who follow my career might say, 'When are you going to get married? You're just dating, it's a sin.' We also understand the desire to hurry, but thanks to the prayers of friends and the media, it finally came true," he added.

2. Held in Sundanese Tradition

The wedding was held in Sundanese tradition. The invitations distributed for the wedding were also relatively few, only 100 invitations due to health protocol reasons.

"This is the Sundanese custom, the attendees are not more than 100 if I'm not mistaken, following the standard protocol for the venue. Only close family members," Kevin concluded.
