Finally Okie Agustina Withdraws Report after Reconciling with Umrah Travel Agency

Kapanlagi.com - Okie Agustina had previously reported a travel agency named PT. Hidayatul Imam Abadi to the Central Jakarta Police, on Friday, March 1, 2019. This was because she felt deceived as her umrah trip was canceled and her money was not refunded by the agency.

A year later, both parties finally agreed to reconcile after Okie had reported PT. Hidayatul Imam Abadi for alleged fraud and embezzlement. Accompanied by her legal team, Gus Bejo and Falky Parera, the reconciliation agreement was made at the Central Jakarta Police, where Okie reported the travel agency to the authorities.

"Regarding our report some time ago regarding fraud in the umrah travel issue. We have reached a settlement because it is a private criminal offense, so the travel agency agreed to refund our client's money," said Gus Bejo when met at the Central Jakarta Police on Tuesday (20/10).

1. Withdraw Report

After reaching a settlement, Okie Agustina's legal counsel also immediately withdrew the report. Meanwhile, the losses suffered by the wife of football player Gunawan Dwi Cahyo have been returned.

"So today, a peace agreement was signed and the report was declared withdrawn. The information about the withdrawal of the report was done at 9:30. So around 40 million. It has been returned," said the legal counsel.

2. Expressing Relief

Okie also expressed relief after the peace agreement was reached. She also stated that basically, they wanted to resolve this case amicably.

"Yes, we met. Actually, from the beginning, we reported this because there was no good faith, we were waiting for good faith from the travel company. That's why yesterday, the important thing was that there was good faith and we actually didn't want to complicate things like this, but because the travel company showed good faith, we agreed," Okie concluded.
