First Divorce Hearing of Raya Kitty 'Anak Langit' Not Attended by Husband

The news was finally confirmed by Raya's lawyer, Chandra Ramadhani, when contacted by the media. The divorce lawsuit was apparently filed in court since mid-February.

"(The lawsuit) was filed on February 17, and the first hearing was on February 24. Raya was represented, but there was no one present from the defendant's side," said Chandra, Raya Kitty's lawyer, when contacted on Tuesday (1/4).

No decision can be made from the first trial. Meanwhile, the next trial will be held on April 21. Unfortunately, Chandra refuses to disclose the reason why Raya filed for divorce against Abid to the media.

"It's better to ask Raya about that. As for me, I can't because it's a matter of family privacy. Just pray for the best for Raya. The problem, from when I don't know, it has already become the subject," he continued.

2. Not Discussing Marital Assets or Child Custody

As known, from the marriage, Raya and Abid have been blessed with a child who is now only 5 months old. However, at the moment, Raya and her legal team's focus is solely on getting divorced, without discussing marital assets or child custody.

"Just the divorce. Because the child is still around 5 months old. According to the law, below 12 years old, custody is still with the mother. But the divorce and child custody are separate matters in this separate trial," he concluded.
