Kapanlagi.com - Vicky Prasetyo and Angel Lelga are officially divorced as of Monday (30/3). According to the official website of the South Jakarta Religious Court, Angel Lelga's lawsuit has been granted.

Didik Sumariyanto, Angel Lelga's lawyer, has confirmed this. He provided his response over the phone.

"Regarding the decision of the South Jakarta Religious Court in accordance with our client's lawsuit. In essence, the panel accepted our client's lawsuit, which includes everything related to the lawsuit that has been conveyed to the panel of judges. That's the essence of it. The divorce has been accepted," said Didik Sumariyanto, Angel Lelga's lawyer.

1. Official Divorce

Previously, Angel Lelga has filed for divorce from Vicky Prasetyo at the South Jakarta Religious Court on December 13, 2019. Although the lawsuit has been accepted, Didik said that they are still waiting for news from the defendant.

"If there are no other efforts from the defendant, the decision will be final according to the court's decision within 14 days if there are no legal remedies," he said.

"Yes, that's the mechanism of the e-court. But it's not because of the corona factor. Because when we filed the lawsuit through the e-court, it was already official, not conventional. Yesterday, during the mediation, the plaintiffs and defendants were required to attend along with evidence and witnesses, but everything else, whether it's the answers, replies, conclusions, or decisions, were done through the e-court of the Supreme Court," he added.

2. Angel Lelga's Comment

Didik Sumariyanto admitted that his client, Angel Lelga, was also happy to hear the news. Angel expressed her gratitude that her efforts to fight for her marital status have been granted.

"I just conveyed this, it just came in. But the main point is that Angel is expressing her gratitude that her efforts to fight for her marital status have been granted by the Panel of Judges. That's the essence of it," said Didik.
